Receita Federal (Federal Revenue and Customs Administration) informs you of the following quantities, by type of merchandise, that can be acquired abroad:
I. Computer memory: 2 units per type
II. Other computer components: 1 unit per type
III. Toys: 15 units, no more than 3 units per type
IV. Distilled or fermented beverages: 12 bottles
V. Bazaar items: 15 units, no more than 3 units per type
VI. Electronic equipment: 2 units per type
VII. Watches: 5 units per type
VIII. Musical instruments: 1 unit per type
IX. Clothing: 12 units, no more than 3 units per type
X. Perfumes and cosmetics: 5 units, no more than 3 units per type
XI. Other merchandise: quantities according to the circumstances and to the nature of the trip
